Trophy Fees

Prices are subject to change but will apply as of the date of booking. Trophy quality of the animals are determined by Spiral Horn Ranch guides are are not negotiable in the field. Multiple exotic species hunted by a single hunter may reduce trophy fees and must be agreed upon between Spiral Horn Ranch and the client during the booking process. Our Axis, Blackbuck, Gemsbok, Whitetail, and Wildebeest thrive on the ranch. If the client desires a different species, Spiral Horn Ranch or its affiliates may have the ability provide that species at its discretion for the hunting party. Management and trophy quality animals exist on the ranch although there is no guarantee that a client will harvest a particular animal or trophy class animal during their visit. Spiral Horn Ranch guides will do everything possible to ensure a successful hunting experience.

Exotics and Native Game

Daily Rates

Our daily rates of $150 per day per hunter includes lodging, meals, and guide services for a 24 hour period or less. We provide 3 hearty and healthy first class meals served in the guest lodge including soft drinks, bottled water and snacks. We accommodate our clients dietary needs and we will request special menu considerations at the time of booking. We have a reduced daily rates for children under 16 for $100 provided that they are hunting with an adult. We do not double book hunting parties so individual clients and their immediate party will have full use of the lodge, guides, and services of Spiral Horn Ranch during their stay. Tips to guides are not included and generally range from 8-10% of the trophy fee. Daily rates do not include trophy fees, management hunt fees, or photo safaris.

Hunting Rules

Hunters must observe and follow all state and federal hunting regulations while on the ranch. This includes obtaining a valid Texas Hunting License prior to their hunt. Although exotic species populations and hunting seasons are not controlled by the Texas Parks and Wildlife department, both residents and non-resident hunters must obtain a valid Texas Hunting License to hunt exotic species. Spiral Horn Ranch is not responsible for obtaining licenses for our guests.

Liability Release Form

Our liability release form must be executed by each member (or guardian of minors) prior to entry. Hunters will be guided by a member of the Spiral Horn Ranch team while on the ranch. Any animal wounded or hit by a hunter's implement is considered the same as a kill. We will make every effort to retrieve wounded game, including using canines when appropriate. At their discretion, Spiral Horn Ranch or its agents reserve the right to remove disruptive individuals from the ranch at any time.

Deposits

Spiral Horn Ranch will require 50% of the daily rate based upon number of days booked. Deposits are fully credited to your final payment due at the end of your visit and are non-refundable if the hunt is cancelled for any reason. If cancellation results in a future booking, Spiral Horn Ranch will credit your deposit to a hunt booked within one year of the cancellation date. All rates and fees are quoted in US dollars and all client balances must be paid in full prior to departure. We accept cash and checks. We will only accept personal checks for advance deposits and a $30 charge will apply to any returned checks (returned for any reason).

Package Deals

Spiral Horn Ranch will provide special pricing on lodging and meals for families traveling with two or more children provided that one or more children hunt during the stay. Special hunt pricing for trophy quality species can be arranged if more than two species are taken while on the ranch. Please inquire at the time of booking. Photo safaris conducted on the ranch without a hunt will be charged at $200 per day for the first camera, $75 per camera thereafter. Photo Safaris will include lunch.
